Information collected
The public archive does not require an account. We process enquiry messages and essential security logs when needed to operate the site.
Photographs
Published images are JPEG copies with location and other embedded metadata removed.
Legacy records
Records required to close or audit the former paid membership may be retained only for legal, accounting, support and security purposes. New checkout has ended.
Anonymous audience measurement
The public site uses a random browser token that expires each Tokyo calendar day to count daily active users and aggregate actions such as photo views, searches, next-photo clicks and shares. The server stores only a one-way hash scoped to that day, the returning-visit flag and daily totals. It does not retain a raw IP address, user-agent string or cross-day identifier for this measurement. Do Not Track is respected. The site does not include third-party advertising trackers.
How long information is kept and your rights
We keep records only as long as needed to provide the service, meet accounting and legal obligations, investigate security incidents and maintain a reliable publication history. Where the law applies, you may ask us for access, correction, suspension of use or deletion.
